Notice Regarding U.S.-Bound Postal Items in Connection with U.S. Tariff and Regulatory Changes

Due to changes in U.S. tariffs and regulations, please note the following when sending postal items to the United States.

At the end of last month (July 30), the U.S. government announced a presidential order entitled “Suspension of De Minimis Treatment for All Countries” with respect to U.S.-bound postal items.

Under this order, effective August 29 of 2025, postal items containing goods imported for consumer purposes will no longer be eligible for duty-free (de minimis) treatment and will instead be subject to customs duties. However, as of today, the specific procedures for customs declaration, payment of duties, and other operational details for these taxable items remain unclear.

Should additional information become available, we will promptly provide updates on our website.

Customs and Duties: Please note that US orders may be subject to customs clearance procedures and import duties or taxes so far. Tokyo Beauty Box is not responsible for any additional charges that may apply.
